I am an Advanced Clinical Reflexology Duopody Practitioner with 11 years practical experience. I am trained to the highest standards available in the UK. I offer totally bespoke reflexology treatments at every session which are based on in-depth anatomy, physiology and pathology knowledge and designed to suit your specific needs. I teach the Agored Cymru Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology, so I am always up to date with all things reflexology and I invest in my own professional development.
First treatments are 1 ½ hours, as it includes a full health consultation, bespoke treatment plan, the treatment, aftercare, de-briefing. Subsequent sessions can be tailored to your budget and individual needs, ranging from 1 hour, 40 minutes or 30 minute sessions. I offer free ongoing advice as well.
Due to my own past experiences with chronic back pain, I specialise in treating chronic pain conditions and pain management using targeted reflexology treatments. I often receive patient referrals from Consultants in Pain Medicine, where they have tried all medical approaches, to no avail. Pain perception and relief is often about more than the physical, structural issue or injury. By analysing the feet visually and by tactile findings, I can identify and treat any physical or emotional concerns in a holistic way - the root of pain is often uncovered, released through the treatment and pain becomes manageable.
I also provide a bespoke stress management treatment, which is a targeted 30-minute session. The nervous, endocrine, immune systems, plus the vagus nerve and gut/brain axis are treated via the feet. If you wish, positive self-dialogue, and the power of words and the mind can be used to further promote self-healing. Stress really is a killer – it is now well-established that stress can affect health directly, by causing harmful physiological changes in the body, and indirectly by associated negative behavioural changes (Daryl et al, 2021). We all need to use the tools available to us to keep stress to a minimum. Reflexology really can help you to manage the stresses and demands of modern life.
I work with people of all ages, to achieve the optimal physical and emotional health. Our bodies have a unique healing capacity, and reflexology promotes this ability, even if you have a chronic condition or are advancing in years. The NHS is under a lot of pressure, and we can all take positive steps to look after our own health. Having regular reflexology sessions is one way in which you can feel better about life and attain optimum health. I have in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, and by using this knowledge of what organs/systems are involved in a particular disease, bespoke reflexology treatment is be offered. Your body can be aided back to the best place possible … one of balance, self-healing and rejuvenation. Reflexology is a deeply relaxing therapy, putting you into an immediate healthy state of rest, digest and repair, rather than the fight or flight stress response. It is so important to take time out of the busyness of life to rest, reset and restore for optimal health.
